Once you arrive for your treatment, you'll be checked in by our Zen Advisor, who will help you with patient history forms and address any questions you may have regarding acupuncture.
After choosing your complimentary tea, you'll be escorted to the Zen Lounge, where you'll sit in a zero-gravity, heated massage recliner.
Here, a licensed acupuncturist will discuss your wellness goals before administering a personalized treatment. As you rest for 20 to 30 minutes, therapeutic music and calming nature scenes make your experience even more relaxing.
After your first session, explore our in-clinic membership options. Instead of paying $75 per future visit, choose from monthly plans with 1, 2, or 4 visits at a special rate. Experience more savings and quicker healing!

Gua Sha involves scraping the skin with a tool called a Gua in either long or short strokes. This technique aims to relieve tension in the fascia and alleviate stagnant energy, blood, and fluids.
Need some time alone? Enjoy your acupuncture treatment in the solitude and quiet of one of our private rooms.
Cupping therapy is a soothing treatment where cups are gently placed on the skin to create suction, enhancing circulation and promoting deep tissue healing. This method can provide relief for pain, help reduce inflammation, and foster relaxation.
A gentle, non-invasive technique that uses small seeds or beads placed on specific points of the ear. This method stimulates points corresponding to different body parts, promoting relaxation and health benefits. Ideal for managing stress, pain, and more.
During a Herbal and Wellness consultation, we'll conduct a holistic assessment to understand how your diet, lifestyle, and genetic predispositions influence your immune, reproductive, digestive, and hormonal health.

Edmund graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, California. He decided to become an acupuncturist after visiting and being treated by an acupuncture physician and personally experiencing the healing acupuncture can bring.
He has been especially impressed with the way he has witnessed it improve mental health and support stress of any kind. He recently joined Modern Acupuncture in 2023, but had studied under Bob Doane, the clinical director of Modern Acupuncture and inspiration for our “Zen Lounge” setting. He is a new Nashville transplant, hailing all the way from California. So far he is loving Music City and loves the whole music vibe!
Rachelle is a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncturist and Herbalist, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Florida College of Integrative Medicine in 2009. Practicing Eastern Medicine for over 15 years, she’s traveled the world advancing her knowledge in alternative and complementary healthcare modalities to offer more effective treatments for modern disorders.
While the focus of her practice has largely been in fertility and reproductive health, she believes that the same principles of balance and sustainability applied throughout the stages of family planning can also be applied to the stages of building (or rebuilding) physical and mental health.
In June of 2022, she and her husband, Adam, took over ownership of the Modern Acupuncture Cool Springs location in Brentwood, TN and less than a year later became co-owners of Modern Acupuncture’s sister clinic in Murfreesboro. Their aim is to make traditional medicine easy to understand and integrated into everyday health and wellness. She still actively treats patients, offering cupping and guasha, in addition to current acupuncture services in Brentwood.
