MOD ACU - Back Pain & Acupuncture

One of the most common reasons people go to one of our clinics is because they are experiencing back pain (According to our latest Patient Survey, back pain accounts for nearly 25% of our patients).

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) states that back pain is one of the most frequent medical problems, affecting 8 out of 10 people at some point during their lives.

Clinical trials consistently show that acupuncture is effective in treating back pain, especially for patients with chronic pain or who have failed to get an optimal response to more conventional therapies such as medications or physical therapy.

Even though acupuncture is a simple treatment, there are complexities in effective diagnosis, acupuncture point selection and recommending an effective treatment plan.

Acupuncturists have a Master or Doctorate degree in Chinese Medicine and over 1600 hours of classroom and clinical experience; accounting for over 3-5 years of training. Like me, all acupuncturists have passed board exams and are licensed by their state to provide acupuncture treatments to their patients.

Modern Acupuncture has strong evidence-based acupuncture protocols that get great results for those suffering from back pain, and other pain related issues too. Here are a few testimonials from our patients.

I started coming to modern acupuncture about 4 months ago with lower back pain and a shoulder injury. I am a 48-year-old and avid golfer in addition to playing multiple sports. I have tried acupuncture before with good results but was never comfortable with other facilities. The intimate atmosphere makes for an amazing experience every time I go in. They are truly wonderful people who care about your health.- Charles

I have osteoarthritis and am in constant pain. I was willing to try anything so I signed up for a free visit. After five sessions I had TWO consecutive PAIN FREE days. No pills, no creams, no solutions. This is a very, very big deal.- Kimmie

If you are looking for relief from oftentimes debilitating back pain, we encourage you to visit your local Modern Acupuncture Clinic to feel for yourself how impactful acupuncture can be.

We look forward to being part of your healing process.
