Our team
Denise is a double board-certified licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a passion for healing. She graduated from the California State University of Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry before moving to Shanghai to study at one of the top Chinese medicine schools in the country.
She then came back to the States to pursue a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at the Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier. Growing up, Denise was always passionate about the role that health plays in a person's life. She believes that when a person is healthy and feels good, every other aspect of the person's life will flourish. Denise is ecstatic to be part of the Modern Acupuncture team in Aliso Viejo.
